Piz Buin. The year was 1938 when the Swiss chemistry student Franz Greiter climbed the mountain Piz Buin. Franz was a passionate mountaineer but did not think about the strong rays of the sun and his skin became overexposed to the sun when he climbed Piz Buin. A few years later, he created one of the world's first sunscreens: "Glacier Cream". The product was named after the mountain in the Alps he climbed and the sun protection series Piz Buin was born.
