Bepanthen ointment is to prevent and protect against the appearance of mild skin irritations and superficial cracks in the skin that can occur due to dry skin. Bepanthen ointment contains dexpanthenol which is converted to vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) in the skin. Dexpantenol promotes the buildup of the outer layer of skin. Bepanthen Anti-Exem Creme is a cortisone-free cream that both relieves itching and stimulates the rebuilding of the skin barrier, which reduces the need to itch and helps the skin to heal. Bepanthen Anti-Eczema Creme contains naturally caring lipids, which are reminiscent of the lipid layers in the skin barrier.
